Pangarchulla Peak Trek
Located in the depths of Garhwal Himalayas and nestled on the western rim of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve is the Pangarchulla peak, also ‘The Chimney Peak’ with its summit located at an altitude of 15000 ft.
Pangarchulla trek is one of the most sought after treks from Dec to Feb. A trek that enchants any mountain lover with its mesmerising views of the mighty Himalayan Mountain peaks, thick, dense and ancient forests with their healing energies, and exotic wildlife interactions along the trail. Whether you are a beginner getting comfortable with the cold breeze of the mountains or a pro looking to explore the depths of your limits, Pangachulla peak has something to offer to everyone.
And to top it off, you will be led and guided by a team of elite SF veterans from the Indian Armed Forces. An opportunity to learn from battle hardened adventurers and walk shoulder to shoulder with them, to explore your limits, and your true potential.

Trek Preparations –
Following Items are mandatory to carry
Basic Gear
Backpack (60 – 70 ltr) – Must have comfortable shoulder straps, frame and backpack cover.
Waterproof trekking shoes that are high ankle and have a good grip
Clothing
Synthetic/waterproof track pants – 2 ; T shirts (full sleeve) – 3
Fleece jacket – 1 ; Woollen sweater – 1
Windproof jacket – 1 ; Heavy jacket – 1
Thermal inners – 1 pair ; Cotton socks – 3 pair ; Woollen socks – 2 pair
Woollen cap – 1 ; Waterproof hand gloves – 2 pair
Personal utilities
Sun cap – 1 ; Head torch – 1
Sun protection cream – 1
Sun glasses (Dark with side cover & UV protection) – 1
One litre water bottle – 2
Lip balm / cold cream – 1
Toiletries – As required
Quick dry towel – 1
Personal medical kit – As required
Walking stick – At least one

Things to Pack

Rucksack:
You must pick a good quality backpack with a comfortable fit and straps that won’t give you shoulder pain. You can check out your nearest Decathlon store for a good trekking backpack.
